"Let go and let Victoria" An endearing expression a few clients graciously bestowed upon me.
At first I cringed, but now I fully embrace the idea! More than likely, you’ve never had to plan a whole wedding or pick out a photographer before.
And if you have, you know there is so much more to finding the right photographer other than great photographs. I know what I am doing, and my ultimate goal is to take this chunk off your plate and make not only the photography portion of your day stress-free, but wedding planning as a whole nothing but smooth sailing.
Let me guide you from start to finish. Your memories matter.
This is the idea that I have built my entire business on and why this is so much more than a job to me. It's SO much more than just nice pictures for nice people. These are moments of love, authenticity, the capturing of someone's essence forever preserved for years to come. For me, taking a photograph is the ability to immortalize the feeling of holding a loved one and never wanting to let go.
I have taken babies' first photographs, and sadly, a loved one's last.
These thoughts weigh on me with every click of my camera shutter. How incredible it is to have the ability to freeze a moment in time so that others may cherish that moment again and again. How important, to know where and when to be and how to capture that moment. What an honor, to step into a stranger's life and stand beside them for one of their life's greatest moments.

step one: the first date
AKA: A zoom meeting to get to know each other! Meetings from the convenience and comfort of your own home are the best, aren't they? The first step we will take is a meet and greet. Your wedding photographer is the one person who is with you all day on one of the biggest days of your life, it's important to me that we establish a personal connection :). I want to hear about your desires and expectations as well as answer any and all questions you have or didn’t even know you needed to ask.
step two: let's get you booked
We met, we fell in love, and now you are ready to lock in your date.
You’ll pay your retainer, sign your contract, and then the planning begins! I’ll send you guides and questionnaires to help guide you and hone in and learn more about your specific story and desires. I will continue to be your partner as we go through each step together.
step three: let's finalize the details
At this point you have a lot on your plate. While you are planning and preparing for the big day, I will quietly be waiting on the sidelines, but always at your disposal for anything you need. If you have an engagement session, we will plan and implement that right away! I promise this will be your favorite part as I like to make engagement sessions just like one big ‘ol, fun date night! One month out from your big day, I will send you a questionnaire with everything I need to know. The intention will be to have all of our details planned out no later than 2 weeks out from your day. So 2 weeks out from your wedding day, you will have one less thing to worry about :)
step four: Let's party
A day you will never forget. And you will have nothing to worry about but getting a jump start on your marital bliss! Your love and the people who celebrated with you will all forever be frozen in time. Moments you will be able to look back and relive for years to come.

When should we reach out/book?
As early as you can. Dates usually book up quickly so no pressure buuuut a little pressure ;). For traditional weddings, make sure you have your venue locked in first so we know you have an official date.
Do you offer video?
Yes I do! I have a wonderful team of professionals who will capture your day in motion for you to relive as if you were there all over again. You can check out those packages here.
How soon will we get our photos?
While the industry standard is 6-8 weeks, you will receive your final wedding gallery within one month of your wedding date. Engagement session photos are back to you no later than 2 weeks out :).
Do you travel?
Traveling is my favorite! My traveling is limited to 4-5 times per year for destinations and elopements to ensure I can be present for my #1 priority, my son Henry 🖤. Just let me know where your love wants to go and I will be more than happy to see if I have your dates available!
What is the booking process?
Easy, we hop on a Zoom call, fall in love, and then I send you a contract + invoice that can be taken care of with a few simple clicks. A 25% non-refundable retainer is required at booking. The remainder of your balance is due 2 weeks prior to your event date.
Do you photoshop our photos?
I am a firm believer that you are absolutely perfect the way God made you. I remove unnatural blemishes and small distracting objects in the background of your photos. However, I want to capture your day as authentically as possible and make you feel the most confident just as you are. I do that by relying on flattering angles, and lighting, and by literally asking you about what you are subconsciously about and doing my best to hype you up and build your self-esteem. Under no circumstances will I be doing anything that alters your natural beauty.

Absolutely! I love connecting great people with even more great people. If you book with me here in VA, I will give you a recommendation list full of the best people to work with!
