Alright so this engagement session wasn’t quite in Annapolis, but just outside of it by Maryland’s Bay Bridge. I want the algorithm to bring me more lovers who love the ocean and are from Annapolis, ok? Close enough. Mike and Meredith were actually doing a full blown destination wedding in Jamaica the following year with almost 200 of their friends and family. Wild, right? You simply MUST check out the blog post from their wedding because it was EPIC. Anywho, with them doing such a huge beach destination wedding, we wanted to pay tribute to that in some way in the NOVA/DMV area. Terrapin Nature Park just outside of Annapolis, MD did just the trick! I LOVE having beach brides and grooms, but it’s sometimes tricky snagging them when you live in between two major cities in the DC area. So this park helps us out a TON without having to travel too far out. I feel like Terrapin Nature Park has so many little spots that don’t even look like you could possible be taking engagement photos anywhere near Washington DC.

Because all of my clients are awesome, I HAD to ask….”So…you’re going to get in the water, right?” Without hesitation they were like, “Oh heck yes.” And Mike…well Mike REALLY understood the assignment….and Meredith is an amazing sport, haha!
Obviously it was worth it.
