The anticipation built as Bridget tapped Matt on the shoulder, and the second he turned around, they both erupted into laughter. Like so many couples who choose Stoneyman Valley Ranch, Matt and Bridget exchanged vows with the breathtaking Little Stoneyman Overlook as their backdrop. The combination of the crisp mountain air, golden leaves starting to turn, and the love they shared made for an absolutely magical ceremony. Even with their playful personalities, there was no denying the heartfelt emotion as they promised forever to each other.
We Love a Good Bride and Groom Portrait Sesh
Right after their ceremony, Matt and Bridget took advantage of the stunning open fields for some newlywed portraits. The vast landscapes and bright light made for some epic shots that captured both their deep love and their carefree spirits. OBVIOUSLY, we also had to take the golf cart for a spin. We took a quick pause to get the reception going, then snuck back out at sunset to finish their bride and groom portraits during golden hour.
One of the best parts about Stoneyman Valley Ranch? The venue offers couples a golf cart ride up the mountain to capture some epic sunset portraits. Matt and Bridget, of course, turned it into an adventure, laughing the whole way up. Once they reached the top, the view was absolutely worth it. With the Blue Ridge Mountains stretching into the horizon and the sun casting the most stunning golden glow, their portraits were pure magic.
After reading all of this, as you can imagine, the reception was LIT. I’m not even going to say much about it, because the photos will speak for themselves.
